Same-day delivery is available 7 days a week within our local Phoenix delivery area on select arrangements when ordered before the daily cutoff time.
Same-Day Delivery Cutoff Times
To qualify for same-day flower delivery in Phoenix, please order by:
- Monday – Saturday: 1:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM
Orders placed after cutoff will be scheduled for the next available delivery date.
On major floral holidays like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, delivery hours may be extended due to high demand.
Local Delivery Time Windows
Delivery times vary based on destination type and daily routing. While we can’t guarantee exact delivery times, AZ Florist delivers throughout Phoenix within the following time frames:
- Business deliveries: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Homes, hotels and hospitals: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Funeral services: 1-2 hours before the service time
- School deliveries: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Special Delivery Locations & Guidelines
Hospital Deliveries
Some hospitals and specific units, like ICU floors, do not allow fresh flowers or plants. Please confirm the recipient’s room allows floral deliveries before ordering.
School Deliveries
- Student flower deliveries depend on individual school policies
- Teacher deliveries are made to the front office before 3:00 PM
Funeral & Memorial Services
Flowers for funeral services are delivered 1–2 hours prior to the service to allow time for placement and preparation.
Delivery Timing Expectations
While we try to accommodate delivery requests, exact delivery times are not guaranteed due to traffic, weather and recipient availability.
You can include a preferred delivery window in the Additional Comments section at checkout and our local team will try to accommodate it when possible.
If the Recipient Is Not Available
If no one is available at the time of delivery, the florist may:
- Leave the arrangement in a safe location
- Leave it with a neighbor
- Leave a delivery notice with instructions for redeliver
Address Accuracy & Doorstep Requests
- AZ Florist is not responsible for incorrect addresses entered at checkout
- Deliveries to an incorrect address may incur a $10 re-delivery fee
If you request flowers to be left at the door, the customer assumes all risk. Due to extreme Phoenix heat, doorstep delivery is strongly discouraged especially during summer months.
